IMMIGRATION: Naturalization No. 1982 Saginaw County Circuit Court. Lived in Saginaw E.S., Michigan RFD #6 (Buena Vista Township)
Left from Liverpool (England) on or about 15 March 1906 and arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on or about 25 March 1906. Certificate of arrival was not attached and ship not named with notation of Unknown. (In initial search of ship records for Philladelphia - Anton was not found.) Declaration of Intent was on 10 April 1917.

IMMIGRATION: Special note on this Petition: I made petition for citizenship to the Circuit Court of Saginaw, Saginaw County, Saginaw Michigan on the 16th day of July A.D. 1913 said petition was denied by the said Court for the following reasons and causes, to wit for want of prosecution. (Anton applied and did not show up for court on his first application on 20 June 1914. Also the ship he came on was not found by INS so could have created part of the problem.

IMMIGRATION: Anton applied for naturalization twice.
1. Declaration of Intention 4 November 1909 States the Anton was born in Margoning Germany (Prussia) and left through the port of Hamburg, Germany on the Philadelphia Line (vessel unnamed). Arrival Date 25 March 1906.
2. Declaration of Intention 10 April 1917 State all the same but that he left Liverpool England on vessel Unknown. Arrival 25 March 1906. Wife Helen born in Saginaw, residing in Saginaw.

IMMIGRATION: Found on ship that arrived from Liverpool in Philadelphia named the Friesland on March 26, 1906 American Line and Grandpa was not listed on it.

EMMIGRATION: Left Hamburg to Liverpool. From Liverpool to Philladelphia - could not find the ship record for the port of Philadelphia on film or in Ellis Island records. Need to investigate the port records for Hamburg to see if I can find a record leaving Germany.
