Marquette-
For the second time in three years the Marquette lighthouse has won the efficiency flag of the Eleventh deistrict, awarded annually to the station making the best reocrd during the year. The award was announced by F. P. Dillion superintendent of lighthouses in Detroit.
Frank G. Sommer is keeper of the lighthouse here, with Joseph Curry first assistant and Ben S. Hudak, second assistant.......
The Marquette station was awarded the efficiency flag in April 1933, for its work during 1932. At that time Mr. Sommer was keeper and Louis A. Dissett, assistant keeper. Mr. Sommer has been keeper of the station for 11 years.
