OBITUARY
Jean Ivadell (Wooley) Heger, Robertson
Age 81,of Owosso, formerly of Tucumcari and Albuquerque, New Mexico
died Thursday July 2, 1998 at Shiawasse County Medical Care Facility,
Corunna, Michigan. She Also resided in the state of Washington for a
period of years.
Mrs Robertson was born in Lansing, Michigan, July
29,1917 the daughter of Arthur T. and Ivadell M. (Munson) Wooley, formerly
of Elsie and Ovid, Clinton, County. Mrs. Robertson was a descendant of
early colonial and Michigan pioneer families. Captain Thomas Munson was
one of the earliest settlers of Hartford and New Haven, Connecticut,
being one of the signatories to the "Fundamental Order" regarded as the
the first written Constitution in the USA, and a founder of New Haven ,
Connecticut in 1638. Descendants of Captain Munson being one of the
earliest settlers of Fairfield, Township, Shiawassee County.
Great grandfather John K. Wooley was originally from colonial New
Germantown/Oldwick, Hunterdon, New Jersey, being one of the earliest
Michigan pioneers settling 1st). Prarie Ronde twp., Kalamazoo, Michigan
(1830) 2nd) Elba twp., Gratiot, Michigan 3rd) Duplain Township, Clinton
County.
Survivors include four sons Frank Heger Jr, (Catherine M.
Hageman), Paul Heger of Bryan, Ohio (Susan Hartel), Steve Heger of
Phoenix, Arizona and Peter Heger of Flint, Michigan. 21 grandchildren,
eight great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husbands Frank Heger of Owosso and Stanley J. Robertson of Albuquerque, New Mexico:
sisters Madeline Ruth (Wooley) Jennings, and Katherine Elizabeth (Wooley)
