Family knowledge my Mothers relatives and she knew them all. Thelma Orpha Story m. Oma Rollin Russell they were my grandparents they lived in Alma, St. Louis most of their lives my grandfather worked and retired from Alma products Co. and then they moved to Harrison, Michigan until she died in 1970. I knew Peter Samuel also but don't really remember him. I have family photos of Peter and Winnie's 50th Wedding anniversary party. We are related to Rockafellows- Phyllis Story m. Glen Rockafellow they lived in Elm Hall their whole life. Tressel Story m. Clifford Wiser and lived in St. Louis, Gratiot Co. MI. Howard m. Ayleen Hoagland but lived out of this State.

I used the Cemetery books of Sumner Cemetery, St. Louis Cemetery new Remembrance Book to locate the graves of some of these relatives. I have the marriage certificate of Thelma and Rollin Russell Thelma's birth certificate.

Rollins birth certificate- Jasper twp., Midland Co., Michigan Used the Index to Divorce Chancery for Gratiot Co., Michigan to look up Thelma's divorce from Amos Conner before she married Rollin. Purchased from Ithaca Genealogical Society in Ithaca, Michigan.

1871 Census Brantford, Brant Co., Ontario, Canada - Story/ Storey family Death notices from Gratiot Co. newspapers don't know which ones were already cut out by relatives for Peter Samuel 93 yrs old Oldest person in Elm Hall, Winnie was postmaster for 12 years at Elm Hall a little one room tiny building still there I took a photo.

Received information on Tressel from her son James Wiser and anniversary photos of Peter and Winnie and family and one of Howard young about 16, and newspaper article of their anniversary and photo in paper also.
