From CRO: "Church records report that he died at age 7 from tetanus after stepping on a thorn. This story was told many times to me when I was growing up, as he was my mother's cousin and about the same age."
Memorial Presbyterian Church record has his baptismal date as June 12, 1904. This is the same date as given for Ruth Leslie at the same spot in the book so may have been a transcription error somewhere along the way.
