Baase, James L., Saginaw, Michigan. Passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Saint Mary's hospital. Age 85 years. Jim was born March 2, 1917 in Saginaw, residing here all of his life. He married Eva Barger. She passed away in 1986. He then married Pauline Klaczkiewicz. She passed away in 1993. He had been employed by Eaton Manufacturing, retiring in 1975. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Eaton Retirement Club and Pulaski Club. Surviving are two sisters, Barbara Arnst of Saginaw and Mary Harris of Saginaw; several nieces and nephews. Four brothers, Tom, Charles, Edmund and Jack Baase all predeceased him. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. William Taylor will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the McIntyre Funeral Chapel, 500 N. Michigan from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials to Holy Family Catholic Church.
