Saginaw (UPI) A Saginaw hunter was accidentally shot to death Sunday before going hunting with his dog.
Harry G. Baase was found by two other hunters in a wildlife reservoir. Authorities said Baase's body was lying partially out of his car when found.

OBIT: Saginaw Courier Herald October 29, 1909
Baase-Henry Baase died at his home, 503 Elm Street, at 5:15 o'clock last evening of stomach trouble, aged 72 years.
Mr. Baase was born in Mecklenburg, Germany, August 12, 1837. He came to America in 1869* and settled in Buffalo, N.Y. He was married to Mrs. Henrietta Hartman in 1872. They came to Saginaw in 1879. He was a member of the West Side Arbeiter Society. He leaves his wife, two sons and two daughters: John Baase, of Thomastown; Henry Baase and Mrs. Michael Poppeck, of Saginaw, and Mrs. Henry Molderhaner, of San Fransisco, Cal.
The funeral will take place at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the family residence and at 1:30 from St. Paul's Lutheran church, of which he was a member. Rev. J. H. Westensdorf will officiate. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
*Note: Ship records show they came in 1865. Henrietta's obit says they married in 1874 which would be more accurate if looking at children's births. Henry Moldenhauer is correct spelling.

---------------
OBIT: Saginaw Courier Herald October 29, 1909
