Baase, David P., Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved father, grandfather and brother passed away Wednesday, November 25, 1998 at James E. Cartwright Care Center following a lengthy illness. Age 59 years. The son of the late Herman J. and Hazel (Cosgrove) Baase, David was born October 12, 1939 in Saginaw, Michigan. He had been employed at General Motors Delphi Plant until his retirement. His most avid expression for life was to be on a lake fishing. Surviving are one daughter and three sons, Cynthia Dumbra, John and Brenda Baase, David and Kathy Baase, Gilbert Baase and his fiancee Donna Buchanan; 10 grandchildren; five sisters and four brothers, Agnes Williams, Mary Clark, Beatrice and Howard Cramer, Hazel Sanburn, Almeda and Ray McLaren, Willis Baase, Charles and Coilah Baase, Louis Baase and Robert and Dorothy Baase; many nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert Baase. Honoring Mr. Baase's wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment of cremains will take place in Foxhome, Minnesota.
