Baase, Gladys, Saginaw, Michigan. Passed away Monday, May 13, 2002 at her home after a lengthy illness. Age 80 years. Gladys was born September 10, 1921 in Ithaca, Michigan. Surviving are four children and their spouses, Robert and Barbara Baase, Saginaw; Clarence Baase, Saginaw; Judith and Larry Welzin, Saginaw; Charles Baase, Saginaw; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna Crouch, Illinois; several nieces and nephews. Gladys was predeceased by a sister, Lou Sanders. Funeral services will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2002 at the W.L. Case & Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Dr. Richard Murphy will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral chapel Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and then on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
